Hey everyone. I´m Luccas Schmigel, a Graphic Designer (graduated about 2007) that never liked too much about advertisement. I soon went to work with 3D interactive medias, motion graphics and Projection Mapping.
But now, this year, I decided to pursue my dream to become an Indie Game Dev.

Stay calm, making Indie Games is not my main source of income. I know the struggles that many indie devs face nowadays. This pursue is for personal accomplishment. I like playing and creating games. Simple as that.

And… this post is not about indie dev business. At least for now.
This post is about telling my story to become and indie dev and in the way present some hints, tutorials, books, videos, gameplays, work in progress and so on. And having fun in the process.

To start, I work with Unreal Engine 4 for about 2 years. I created a complete introductory course about Blueprints and some games at some Game Jams. Since I´m more from the Artist side, I never took the time to really study Game Mechanics and Game Design.

I think it can change now that I´m compromised to create games.

This series of posts is like to remember myself about my dream.
I hope all information shared can be helpul for anyone trying the same achievments.
